What we collect, and what we do with it.

This site collects very little, and this page says exactly what. It describes how pydentech.com actually works, not what a template says a privacy policy should contain.

Who we are

PyDen Technologies LTDA is a software engineering company established and registered in Brazil (CNPJ 57.604.330/0001-03). We operate this website at pydentech.com and are responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

As a Brazilian company, we process personal data subject to applicable Brazilian data-protection requirements.

What we collect, and how

Information you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the subject you select, your message and — if you choose to provide it — your company name. The company field is optional. We ask for nothing else, and there is no account to create.

Information collected automatically. When you visit a page, our own analytics records the page address, the referring address if your browser sends one, the type of event (a page view, a click on a call to action, a form submission) and timing information. It also sets one cookie, described below.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment details, government identifiers or any special category of personal data. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information in a first message to us.

What happens to a contact form submission

A submission is delivered to us by email through an email delivery provider. It is not stored in the website's database.

We use it to answer you and to have the commercial conversation you started. It remains in our business email for as long as that conversation and our records of it are relevant, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses one cookie, named pyden_vid. It holds a randomly generated identifier so that repeat visits can be recognized as the same browser. It is set by our server, marked HttpOnly — meaning no script on the page can read it — with SameSite set to Lax, and it expires after approximately thirteen months. Over HTTPS it is also marked Secure.

A visit is grouped into a session on our server after thirty minutes of inactivity. There is no separate session cookie.

Your IP address is never stored in readable form. Where an address is needed — to tell automated scanners apart from people, and to apply rate limits — it is converted into an irreversible value using a keyed hash, and only that value is stored. We do not geolocate visitors; the country field in our analytics is not populated.

The analytics is entirely our own and runs on our own infrastructure. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising network, no remarketing pixel and no cross-site tracking on the international pages of this site.

Why we use this information

To respond to what you send us. To understand which pages are read and which are ignored, so we can write better ones. To keep the site available and to defend it against automated abuse. Those are the only purposes.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or for anyone else's marketing.

Service providers

Operating a website means other companies necessarily handle some of this information. Today that means a hosting provider, which runs the servers where the site and its database live, and an email delivery provider, which transmits contact form messages to us.

We describe these by category rather than by name because the specific provider can change without changing anything about what is collected or why. If you need to know which providers we currently use, ask us and we will tell you.

Google Fonts. The typeface used on this site is loaded from Google's font servers. Because your browser requests those files directly, Google receives your IP address and standard request information as part of serving them. We do not send Google anything about you beyond what that request necessarily contains.

How long we keep things

Analytics records are kept for twenty-four calendar months and then deleted.

Contact form messages live in our business email and are kept while the conversation, or our record of it, remains relevant. There is no fixed period, and you can ask us to delete yours.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Administrative areas are separated from the public site, require authentication and are not reachable on this domain at all. IP addresses are stored only as irreversible hashes. Access to the database is limited to the people who operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not tell you otherwise. What we can say is that we collect very little, so there is very little to lose.

Where your information is processed

PyDen Technologies LTDA is established in Brazil. Personal data described in this notice may be processed and stored in Brazil, or by the service providers we use to operate this website, which may process it elsewhere.

If you contact us from outside Brazil, you should understand that your information will reach a company established in Brazil.

Your requests

Write to us at contact@pydentech.com and tell us what you would like. We will act on requests to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and we will explain plainly if there is something we cannot do and why.

You do not need to cite a statute to make a request, and we will not ask you to.

Changes to this notice

If what we collect or why changes, this page changes with it and the date below changes too. We will not make a change quietly and leave an old date at the bottom.
